The third Datatools4Heart consortium meeting at the Gemelli University Policlinic in Rome

On 8 and 9 October 2025, the DataTools4Heart consortium met at the Gemelli University Policlinic in Rome, Italy. The two-day meeting brought together all partners to review and update progress on all aspects of the project.

After the welcome and kick-off, there was a presentation on the Policlinico Gemelli Heart Department and the heart failure dedicated ambulatory, as well as the AI in cardiovascular disease experience. Many sessions focused on the clinical use cases and the integration of all project components, with related demonstrations for each tool. In the context of data privacy measures, a particular emphasis was given to the latest version of the DataTools4Heart European Code of Conduct within the Ethical, Legal and Social Implications Research Programme (ELSI).

The second day was dedicated to an overview of synthetic data and the sustainability of the project platform, setting new milestones in view of the project exploitation thanks to fruitful discussions with eminent representatives from the European Commission.

Both days concluded with all partners sharing insights and setting new goals for further progress, marking important steps towards achieving cutting-edge results in cardiovascular research.
